The song where is the and the video that goes with it are very closely linked, this is something that was meant to be do done, as it a quite a deep song which people would feel passionately about, so if they then saw the video to go with, it wouldnt be like, oh, well the song is deep, but the video looks like they had a laugh, they wanted it to be more like, oh yeah, a can see why they have done it, black eyed peas have used there video to emphasize there message that they have in there song which is love and peace.
The theme that can be seen in this is the idea of fighting the authorities, and trying to get something right done, eve if it gets them into trouble, which is to get peace in the love, and the song constantly says 'where is the love' which is suggesting to us that the love has gone and they are doing all they can to try and find it.
