Genre Characteristics

Bulletproof can fit in to afew genre categories, these are, electropop, synthoop and bitpop.  The genre pop is a very loose term, due to the fact that any song can become pop, as to be classed as pop it has to become popular, thats it, there are no guide lines for pop.
Usually though, a artist will try to just aim there song at the masses and they do this by trying to make there song as catchy as possible, so it sticks in peoples heads, and a music video which is bright, exciting, and nothing too complex's. These are the idea thats pop as a genre hold at the moment in the music industry.

This song is very much pop, but it would fit into sub categories, which are types of hybrids between pop and electro. The music in this song is clearly, electronically made and enhanced, that also compliments the music video which is very much bright vibrant colour which could been seen as something like lasers.
Saying all this, there is very much a pop side to this song, is it doesnt really have a clear message, it isnt 'deep' it is just very catch, and this can shown by the fact that is constantly goes back to back to the line 'this time baby il be bulletproof' in that line there are afew words which also would show and tell us this is meant to be pop, this is the word 'baby' this is a very in word, which isnt meant to be serious, which would suggest that, this song isnt meant to be taken to seriously.
